About This Guitar
1966 Martin D12-35 D-35 12 String Brazilian Rosewood #211381
This is a fantastic sounding vintage Martin 12 String Guitar. It has been well conserved and it is setup for standard play.
Check out the Brazilian Rosewood!!
The Sitka Spruce Top shows signs of love and play. The finish is checked thorughout. The bridge has been replaced and a very nice compensated saddle allows for great intonation!
The Top and Sides are crack free. There are 2 cracks in the back center wedge. The large crack is cleated. The smaller crack isn't cleated but runs to the back brace and then stops.
The finish is all original except at the heel. The heel has a hairline crack from a neck reset. It has light touchup and refinish at the heel.
The original pickguard looks amazing. There is no B string crack, but the guard does appear to be slightly pulling in some areas.
The tuners are a nice replacement.
There is an old Barcus Berry passive pickup installed.
The binding at the top waist, bass side has a slight gap and needs to be glued up.
