About This Taylor Guitar
1985 Taylor 855 12 String Guitar Lemon Grove Original Case and Paperwork #3684
This is the quintessential 12 String Guitar. A vintage Taylor with light player wear and a gorgeous patina. This one has the original hardshell case and paperwork. The label is signed by Bob Taylor.
There is classic strumming wear on the finish between the pickguard and bridge, and a little bit past the pickguard. There are a few sporadic dings, some shirt button marks on the back, a capo ding on the neck. There is moderate fret wear in the first position. All the correct loving play wear from a vintage 12 String.
The guitar has had no repairs, but the back of the bridge is unseated and will need reglued. Because the bridge needs reglued, I did not replace the old strings. The frets are a little oxidized and will shine up very nicely. The pickup is working, and while changing the old battery, discovered it was attached with some sticky tack. I took out the battery so that area could be cleaned and taken care of as the next guardian wishes.
