2023 Martin Custom Shop OM-28 Premium Italian Wild East Indian Rosewood Hide Glue #2795100
I hand selected these tonewoods while at the Martin Factory in March 2023! The client who ordered it played it for about a year and traded it in to scratch another itch!!
This Premium Italian Top is wonderful. It is super tight grained and has a ton of cross silking. There is no toner on the top so you can see all the figuring! There is one little natural variation in color towards the lower bout.
The Wild East Indian Rosewood is some of the most exagerated stuff I could find. I love the Waterfall effect found on some of these sets.
It sounds fantastic. The Hide Glue makes everything sound great. You can fingerpick or strum this one with a heavy attack. The guitar is in excellent condition with no player wear or dings to report.
